Our client is a top provider of solutions for FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects and the market. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Singapore for 2 years direct hire contract
Key Responsibilities: This role involves performing assigned Quantity Surveying tasks on projects and proposals, focusing on the management of Post-Subcontract documentation, such as Major Fabrication Subcontract Agreements and related RFP (Request For Proposal) Exhibits. You will also be responsible for maintaining project closeout documents in shared drives like J-Drive or SharePoint.
- Prepare and review project-specific Pricing Schedules, including Exhibit Appendix 2 of RFP Packages, for budgeting and contract negotiation with subcontractors in collaboration with the Engineering team during the proposal phase.
- Conduct remeasurement quantity verifications against IFC Drawings provided by subcontractors during project execution.
- Manage change orders, including tasks such as reimbursable work and verifying custom clearance documents at the project execution stage.
- Prepare monthly cost forecasts based on WCR/MTO compared to contractual values and updated remeasurement quantities during project execution.
- Track SI/CR logs, estimate related cost impacts, and notify the PMT and Senior Lead QS during project execution.
- Assist with negotiations and support the Senior Lead QS and PMT (including the Project Control Manager and Project Contract Manager) for final account closeout.
- Reconcile materials, comparing free-issued quantities to as-built quantities during the execution stage.
Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a Diploma in Engineering, or a Marine-related qualification is required. Oil & Gas-related degrees/diplomas are highly preferred.

Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in FPSO shipbuilding or shipyard environments.
