PV Design Manager Strategic Identification of KRA based on approved TO Job assignment involves an organization and must establish the elements of work to maximize the contribution of each personnel. This would also enable us to classify new roles accordingly for each position using a standard criterion (KRA) and documenting what the new work entails. Company Objective: To build, operate, and maintain a 200MWp project in the next 4 years with an annual installation target of 50MWp. Department KRA: To support the annual target capacity of 50MWp and the monthly 50 proposal target of the business development team. Objective: The PV design manager will manage the mean and will play a key role in advancing our company’s commitment to sustainable energy. To support the development of efficient, cost-effective solutions integrating cutting-edge technologies to align with the company objective, industry standards and client satisfaction. Job Description:
1. Technical Support to Business Development: • Conduct technical support to the business development department including but not limited
to technical site surveys and technical presentation to client. • Develop robust and innovative solar PV system designs that optimizes energy production and
align w/ the project specification and generate initial designs include PV system layout, initial Bill of Materials (as needed), and other technical submittals base on the requirement of the business development team.
2. PV generation simulation: • Proficiently use advanced modeling tools and simulations, such as PVsyst, to generate
accurate PV yield projections. 3. Coordination with Technology Suppliers:
• Coordinates with technology suppliers to achieve a reliable design solution and support in the preparation of a cost-efficient commercial proposal during the pre-term sheet stage of the project without compromising the system quality and performance.
4. Technical Due Diligence: • Conducts technical due diligence report after approval of term sheet and before the project
contract approval and signing. 5. Final Design Preparation:
• Prepare the final design before turnover to the pre-construction design section, ensuring
completeness and adherence to project specifications. 6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any design-related issues and optimize the final and cost-efficient design.
7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: • Actively seek and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of solar PV
systems through innovation and stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate best practices into design processes.
Requirements:
• Must have experience in solar commercial and industrial (C&I) sector and experience leading a team.
• Must be a REE (Register Electric Engineer) or higher
