Senior Package Engineer

 

Purpose:

 

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Package Engineer to independently manage requisitions for mechanical component packages in various projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Understand and interpret specifications for mechanical packaged equipment and systems, including Glycol Dehydration Package, Chemical Injection Package, H2S Removal Package, Produced Water Treatment Package, WHRU, Pressure Vessels, and Pumps.

• Design mechanical packaged equipment in compliance with international codes such as ASME and API.

• Develop technical specifications and requisitions for packaged equipment and systems.

• Evaluate technical aspects of supplier bids and conduct thorough assessments, focusing on less complex and medium-risk equipment.

• Assist in placing and executing orders, reviewing supplier documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

• Act as the focal point for liaising and coordinating with stakeholders.

• Provide technical support and advice during supplier shop quality work and site construction/commissioning work.

• Resolve technical issues using expert knowledge throughout package engineering, fabrication, and post-delivery phases.

• Ensure all business activities and decisions comply with laws and regulations, upholding high ethical standards.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas sector, with a preference for FPSO and offshore applications.

• Experience working on EPC projects.

• Familiarity with design standards and international industry codes such as ASME, API, and NACE.
