Offshore installation activities are planned for and carried out by the Senior Field Engineer. To perform offshore installation work scopes safely and effectively, this function entails developing engineering analyses, timelines, procedures, and equipment before coordinating onshore and offshore marine spreads.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create procedures for offshore project execution, make equipment selections, design lifting arrangements in concept and detail, etc.;
Make arrangements for offshore projects, such as installation projects, to get engineering, technical project preparation, and execution support;
Review of internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports, and procedures);
Prepare and coordinate subcontractor Scope of Works.
Preparation of installation procedures.
Defining and ordering installation aids.
Specifying vessel requirements.
Preparing and performing operational risk assessments.
Mobilizing equipment and vessels to execute work scopes.
Coordinating the testing and load-out of installation equipment.
Coordination of offshore work scopes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Major Contractors or consultants.
Extensive knowledge & experience in Subsea EPCIC / T&I Execution, budget control, schedule control and quality control management. Ideally within some or all of the following – Topside / Jackets / Pipe-lay / Diving
Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication abilities, along with the capacity to work independently and effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
Stakeholder Management skills - Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
