This role requires the employee to manage a team of Sales Engineers through the implementation of efficient processes and policies pertaining to the entire process of order fulfilment. The candidate must be able to motivate, coach and mentor the team in ensuring the delivery of quality customer service to the customers.
Team Management - To motivate, coach and mentor team members to deliver optimal results through established and/or new processes; responsible for evaluating team performance and provide recommendations to the Head of Sales.
Sales Processes – Responsible for driving initiatives to ensure efficient sales development processes; take ownership over sales development tools including CRM Sales Hub, Customer Service Hub and Nimbus. Will also be constantly engaging the Order Fulfilment (OF) team to ensure proper alignment in expectations and execution of responsibilities between OF and SD team.
Team Performance – Be responsible in driving the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the team in the following categories:
(a) Customer Enquiries
(b) Sales Quotations
(c) Lead Generation/Qualifications
(d) Project Support
Segment Responsibility – Take up the responsibility as the Sales Development for the allocated industry segment; product selection, preparation of SAP quotation, advising on lead time pre-sales and lead qualifications. Will also be responsible for handling ad-hoc enquiries and enquiries that do not belong to any of the dedicated segments.
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales management/business development in similar industry
- Relevant industry experience in the following focus segments: Industrial, Microelectronics Industrial Water Treatment: UPW/WWT
- Experienced Sales personnel with strong network with EPCs, Contractors, Installers, consultants and end users.
- Strong sales hunting personality, driven and a self-starter.
- Strong time management skills, able to multitask and work effectively under tight timelines.
- Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of customer behaviours, competitor analysis and market trends.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, distributor network management and business development.
- Strong communication skills (internally and externally) with team player approach.
- Proficient in project management with service focus
