HR GENERALIST
- In charge of providing the full spectrum of human resource services in your area as an HR Generalist.
- Pro-actively contribute to the delivery of overall business goals.
Job Description :
- To serve as the initial point of contact for guidance and problem-solving in the following areas of employee relations: disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management, as well as, if necessary, mentoring and coaching managers.
- If necessary, escalate any employee relations issues to the HR Business Partner.
- Promote performance management and staff development programmes
- To counsel, direct, and assist managers with all HR issues
- Successful case management for challenges involving individuals.
- Leading the division's probation process, including mid-probation
- Leading the division's employee check-ins
- Working with the resourcing team to lead the division's on-boarding process
- Creating productive connections within the division
- Monitoring the atmosphere of employee relations and, when necessary, elevating trends or concerns to the HR Business Partner.
- Oversee and direct processes for employee engagement, such as the performance cycle, new hire surveys, stay interviews, exit questionnaires, and interviews, and provide recommendations to the HR Business Partner.
- Gather and provide people data reports
- Write and present information briefings on a range of HR topics
- Support the wider HR team to deliver HR projects
- Actively participate and contribute to the HR Generalist network, globally within the group.
Minimum Competencies
- A certified HR Qualification applicable to your region
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Expert in Employment Law in your region.
- Competent IT skills
- Good knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Compensation and Benefits Management experience
- Knowledge of ER procedures and processes such as employment tribunals, disability, diversity and equal opportunities
- Ability to create and analyse people data
- Sound problem solving and judgement skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- High volume multi-site experience – both site and remotely based experience
- Experience of employment law within other countries is desirable, but not essential
