Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting - To enable smooth running of all financial aspects of the company and implement appropriate controls over incoming and outgoing transactions
- Ensure all records and methods of the accounting system complied and strictly followed the instructions/guidelines/policies/regulations from Local/Regional/Head Quarter.
- Manage month end closing and reporting process - Strictly drive process improvements to enhance the speed and accuracy of month end close by leading initiatives to enhance month end close processes. Make sure 100% timely and accurately closing of accounting & statutory books as the deadline given
- To review and set up Finance and Accounting procedure & policy and clear criteria to measure the performance of accounting KPIs
- Review and analysis the financial statement (P/L, B/S, C/F)
- Manage cash position projection properly to ensure for smooth business operations; no surprise for cash shortage
- Take lead in External audit and all kinds of audit from local authorities (e.g: Tax, customs, environment, quality control; market inspection, etc.). Ensure no material adjustment in terms of audit result (basing on audited
- Develop management report system - To provide flexibility of data while maintaining integrity; to ensure management are supplied with information to assist in the stewardship of the company
- Develop accounting policies and procedures as needed - To ensure finance and accounting staff understand the changing needs of the company
- Prepare reports and information requested by Internal Audit when required
- Co-pilot with business partners to develop internal policies and procedures to standardize business processes and mitigate legal/internal control/compliance risk
- Take lead in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and business plans
- Manage and control direct costs and overhead cost in line with the budget
- Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve efficiency and processing costs, driving efficiency for sales related part, marketing, CAPEX, etc.
