A global renewable energy which develops, designs, builds and manages plants are actively looking for someone with your experience to join their team as a Senior Technical Asset Management.

This role also involves business development and offers potential advancement to Country Manager for the Philippines.



Job Description:

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Must have experience in Solar
  • Will be a plus if have experience in Wind or BESS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PVSYST, GIS, and Autocad preferred.
  • Fluent in Filipino and English; proficiency in Spanish and Japanese desirable.
  • Valid driving license, passport, and willingness to travel within the Philippines, South East Asia, and occasionally to Japan and Europe.
  • Client management and customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in public speaking and training younger professionals.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee daily monitoring of PV, Wind, or BESS assets' performance via internal monitoring platform, coordinating with onsite operators to resolve incidents.
  • Follow up with onsite O&M and third parties to address availability issues related to events.
  • Supervise O&M activities for preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring proper scheduling and reporting.
  • Collect and validate offers, including mini-tenders, for onsite, back-office, or other services.
  • Assist clients in major tender processes to select or renew O&M contractors and other key players.
  • Supervise insurance and warranty claims, generating specific reports as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate energy figures are published for energy sales purposes, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Advise clients on potential revamping, repowering, or reengineering activities, supporting consultants in delivering reports.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to assess plant conditions, following internal procedures and HSE obligations, occasionally assisting with instrumental tests.
  • Supervise and validate scheduled reporting, including technical and revenue aspects.
  • Coordinate with accounting to approve invoices for third-party services.
  • Support administration and tax specialists by providing technical information for administrative purposes.
  • Report main technical performance parameters of plants to clients and financing parties, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee contracts in place, primarily O&M contracts, ensuring all obligations are met and guaranteed metrics achieved.
  • Support local branch operations and participate in the Board of Directors.
  • Supervise local technical team in implementing global procedures.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies, grid operators, municipalities, and authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
